The project refers to a 45m² first floor of a three-story maisonette in a quiet area of Attica. The young couple that lives in it asked for a space “refreshment”.
The existing wooden floor was restored, the kitchen was refurbished and the walls and ceilings were painted. Part of the wall was covered with a mirror pane to give the illusion of space enlargement and white ceramic marble surfaces were used to create a modern feeling.
The cnc white-lacquered mdf wall cladding forms a slats-like panel and along with the lighting fixtures and the floating plasterboard structure above the kitchen worktop create a unique architectural interior result.
