Synergy Vocational Training Center was renovated in order to meet the educational needs of 85 people within a 340m² building. A creative dialogue between robustness and innovation was assigned to highlight the company’s profile. The dark floor with the white walls and ceiling form the basis of the design, creating a museum effect. This effect is reinforced with the sculpted volumes of the entrance where its dynamic form adds a touch of modernization.
The building consists of two wings, the administration wing and the education wing. The imposing volume on the administration wing stands out like the bow of a ship symbolizing the dynamic course of its crew. On the education wing, a smaller volume alike a rescue boat, awaits trainees on board to sail towards learning.
The entrance’s structures are constructed of plasterboard and alpha-block with cement mortar finishing, resembling two big stones which symbolize the stability and durability of the company.
The building’s main facade is characterized by large openings and internal shading systems, which along with a series of natural ventilation skylights, ensure functionality and appropriate working conditions.
